3 stems of Anthurium are displayed at staggered height as a separate group and and single orchid head floats in a small cube vase. The colours of the 2 plant materials are a little contrasting which provides some additional interest and the different vase shape creates diversity in the forms seen but not so much to detract from the focal Anthurium flowers. Not only is this display quick, easy and very versatile, it is also value for money due to the longevity of the flowers chosen. If conditioned properly and the water changed every few days this design should last 8-9 days minium!!

Simplicity is the Essence of Design
Not all floral displays have to be complicated, time consuming or back breaking! Sometimes its best just to let the flower its self to do all the talking. Sometimes the simplest of designs are the best. This arrangement is currently in my bathroom.

A Chrysanthemum head with a hint of green tones nicely with the Anthurium. Such a versatile design. . . so quick and simple to ring the changes. Floating flowers in vases in groups or lines can have a great impact and its a wonderful way of using up flower heads in the shop that have been cut too short for arrangements or snapped off the main stem in transit. Waste not, want not!
