Event Floristry . . . Its a Whole New Ball Game

 I have today plunged into the unknown depths, the mysterious and magical world of . . . Event Floristry. Ok, ok a little dramatic but this event floristry lark really is a whole new ball game. The hours are long, ( not getting home til gone 1am long) and its a logistical nightmare to get from Huntingdon to London to set up arrangements for evening events, however, it is also proving to be immense fun and a strong learning curve. Ive spent the day working with the most exquisite Vanda Orchids, creating sculptural pieces out of black Aluminium wire and balancing the orchids through the tangled framework, set off by the square mirrored platform it all rests upon. Tomorrow is set up day. It will be lovely to see the arrangements in all their glory, taking centre stage in the middle of each dining table. Updates and Pictures to follow soon.
